Responsibilities: (Undergrad Student)
My responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive literature review and developing the thesis proposal. I designed and created custom instruments from the ground up to conduct Load vs. Settlement tests. Ensuring strict adherence to ASTM standards, I performed a series of geotechnical tests to determine soil parameters and utilized PLAXIS 3D for numerical analysis to model the behavior of RAP-infused columns. Additionally, I analyzed both experimental and numerical results, plotted graphs, interpreted data using the double tangent method, and conducted a quality cost-based analysis to assess economic feasibility.

Responsibilities: (Research Assistant)
During this research, I spearheaded literature reviews and contributed to the foundational thesis proposal. Following that I mentored and supervised an undergraduate research team in experimental design, execution, and data analysis, fostering a hands-on learning environment and reinforcing core geotechnical concepts. In addition to that, I designed and fabricated custom apparatus for load-settlement analysis; supervised all lab operations, including setup, calibration, and lab testing in strict compliance with ASTM standards. Furthermore, I supported the team in the development of sophisticated finite element models in PLAXIS 3D to simulate column behavior and conducted specialized software training sessions for student researchers.

Responsibilities: (Undergrad Student)
My responsibilities included conducting a comprehensive literature review and developing the thesis proposal. I coordinated with various government agencies to collect surface water quality data spanning 20 years. I was responsible for digitizing the collected data and performing detailed data analysis, which involved time series analysis of each parameter, correlation analysis using Pearson, Kendall, and Spearman methods, and outlier detection using box plots and normal distribution analysis. Additionally, I developed several regression models and implemented an Artificial Neural Network to predict the impact of industrial effluents on the Buriganga and Turag Rivers in Dhaka
